About GO-SAFER

GO-SAFER — the Global Online Safety Alliance for Educational Resources — is a joint initiative of the University of New Hampshire, the World Health Organization and the International Telecommunication Union, funded by Safe Online.

We exist to answer one simple question that families, teachers and community workers ask everywhere: “Which online-safety program can I actually trust?” Our researchers review programs from every region of the world, our guides translate the evidence into plain language, and everything we publish is free to use in six languages.

GO-SAFER doesn't build safety programs of its own — and that's the point. By staying independent, we can look at every program with the same fair, friendly eye and help you find the one that fits your children, your classroom and your community.

What is GO-SAFER?

GO-SAFER is a global home for trusted online-safety education: a directory of vetted programs and a library of plain-language resources for everyone who cares for children.

Curated programs

Every program in the directory is reviewed for content quality and real-world implementation.

Plain-language guides

Resources written for families and educators, not just specialists.

Global by design

Content in six languages, with programs from every region of the world.

Our partners

Three global institutions co-lead GO-SAFER, each bringing a different strength.
